Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This policy keeps our platform fast, safe, and lawful for everyone on it. It applies to all Voihost hosting, services, software, and free tools, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited content
You may not use Voihost services to host, store, or distribute:
- Anything unlawful under Canadian law or the law of your jurisdiction.
- Malware, phishing pages, or content designed to deceive or defraud.
- Content that infringes others' intellectual property rights.
- Child sexual abuse material or content exploiting minors (zero tolerance; reported to authorities).
- Content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against people or groups.
Prohibited activity
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) from or via our infrastructure.
- Attacking, scanning, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, including ours.
- Running open relays, open proxies, or anonymization endpoints designed to conceal abuse.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared infrastructure.
- Abusing the free tools — automated scraping, bulk querying, or attempts to bypass rate limits.
- Reselling services without a written agreement with Voihost.
Resource use
Shared hosting is shared — sustained excessive resource use that degrades service for others isn't allowed. If your site outgrows its plan we'll tell you and recommend the right fit (usually VPS) before taking any action.
Enforcement
We prefer a conversation over a suspension: for most issues we'll contact you first with what we found and what needs to change. Serious abuse (malware, phishing, spam runs, illegal content) may be suspended immediately to protect others. To report abuse on our network, use the contact form.
