What we collect and why

Contact and quote requests

When you submit the contact form we collect the details you provide — name, email, phone, company, and your message — so we can respond and handle your enquiry. Submissions are stored securely and emailed to our team. We do not use this information for anything other than handling your request and any follow-up you'd expect.

Free tools

When you use our lookup tools (WHOIS, DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, Email Security Checker, Security Headers Checker, Is My Site Down, Redirect Checker), we log the lookup: the domain or URL searched, your IP address, the result, and the time. We use these logs to understand how the tools are used, improve them, and identify businesses that may benefit from our services. Logs are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically.

The Password Generator and DMARC Record Generator run entirely in your browser: nothing you type or generate with them is transmitted to us or stored — ever.

Hosting customers

Billing, invoicing, and account management happen in our client area, which operates under its own secure systems. We do not store payment card details on voihost.com.

Technical basics

Like any web server, ours keeps short-lived operational logs (for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use marketing cookies on this site.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
• We don't run third-party ad or analytics trackers on this site.
• We don't collect payment card details on voihost.com.
• We don't log anything from the in-browser generators (passwords, DMARC settings).

How long we keep information

• Free-tool lookup logs: up to 12 months, then deleted automatically.
• Contact/quote submissions: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our business relationship.
• Operational server logs: short-lived and rotated automatically.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Data collected on this site is stored on infrastructure operated by Voihost and is accessible only to authorized Voihost personnel. We apply the same security standards we sell: encrypted connections, access controls, and regular backups.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal and billing record-keeping requirements). Contact us via the contact form and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you prefer not to have a tool lookup logged, simply don't use the lookup tools — the generators remain fully private either way.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we collect or use information, we'll update this page and its "last updated" date. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
