Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of voihost.com and the services Voihost Inc. provides. By using the site or purchasing a service you agree to them.
1. Services
Voihost provides web hosting, domain registration and management, email and productivity setup, website services, IT services, software, and related support. Specific services are described on their respective pages; quote-based services are governed additionally by the written quote you accept.
2. Accounts and billing
- Hosting services are billed through the Voihost client area. You are responsible for keeping your account contact and billing details current.
- Fees are as listed at time of order or as quoted. Hosting plans are month-to-month unless otherwise agreed — no long-term contracts, and you may cancel from the client area at any time.
- Non-payment may result in suspension of services after reasonable notice.
3. Acceptable use
Use of our services is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
4. Domains
Domains we register on your behalf are registered in your name — you own your domain. Registrations, renewals, and transfers are subject to the applicable registry's terms. We manage DNS and renewals for you as part of the service.
5. Backups and data
We maintain the backup schedules described on your plan's page. Backups are a safety net, not an archive — you remain responsible for keeping your own copies of critical data. Your content remains yours; we claim no ownership of anything you host with us.
6. Free tools and software
The free web tools and free Windows software are provided as-is, without warranty, for lawful use only. Results from lookup tools are informational and not guaranteed accurate. WordPress plugin Pro subscriptions are billed in USD and governed by the terms presented at purchase.
7. Service levels
Hosting uptime commitments are described in the Service Level Agreement.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The services, this website, the free tools, and the software are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. Voihost does not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free from data loss, or that any result obtained from the services or tools will be accurate or reliable. You use the services at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voihost Inc., its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to the services — even if advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of the legal theory.
This includes, without limitation, any loss or damage arising from:
- downtime, service interruptions, or delays;
- data loss, corruption, or your failure to keep your own backups;
- security incidents, breaches, or unauthorized access;
- errors or inaccuracies in the free tools or Windows software, which are provided as-is;
- third-party services, networks, hardware, or software; and
- events beyond our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Voihost’s total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to the services is limited to the amount you actually paid Voihost for the affected service in the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For hosting downtime specifically, the credit described in the Service Level Agreement is your sole and exclusive remedy.
10. Your responsibilities and indemnification
You are responsible for your content, your account credentials, your own backups of critical data, and your compliance with applicable law and the Acceptable Use Policy. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voihost Inc. and its owners and employees from any claim, damage, loss, liability, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the services, your content, or your breach of these terms.
11. Termination
You may cancel services at any time via the client area. We may suspend or terminate services for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, with notice where reasonably possible.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If we update them, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Questions? Get in touch.
